There is a lot of fixing need to be done:

1. Cleaning

a. leveling
One thing that is obvious is the amount of dirt (small pixel dots) all over the page. Plus, the black area that should be deep dark aren't so.

b. Page border
Of you look closely, at every page's border (the one on par with page number), gutter shadows are littering all over the place. Need to clean those up.

2. Typesetting:
a. Font variation
I saw that you only use up to four fonts (Kristen ITC, Arial Black...). While it's not wrong, but as Ruka said it: "it does not bring much life into the comic."

Plus do NOT ever use font normally used for formal documents (times new roman, etc) for conversation. They are killing the mood and only suitable for type-setting a document in the manga.

In summary: need more manga-ish font variations, But not TOO much: keep it between "normal conversation", "screaming in excitement", "anger", "out-of-bubble" mumbling, "Narration box", "thinking", "sfx", etc..

b. Format of the text
The text you put should be matching and fit with the bubble's shape, so that the reader almost won't realize they are "reading" the text but rather "feeling" the text.

Reading and referring to past archived works would help.

3. Finally, some in-edit scripts:
a. First narration box: Gashikashi --> From googles, I think it means "Sweets shop". But from the story, I think it is saying "Alice's House".

b. pg 07 decieved --> deceived

c. Punctuation at every narration boxes.

Yes, unfortunately. I was taught that the guidelines of whether a picture needs leveling is when something which is supposed to be black is not so.

It is not the golden rule, since there are consideration depending on the situation. In this case, all pages I think can't get the special consideration.

And what program do you use to edit ?

I suggest to use GIMP2. Here's the basic of how it works to your bidding:

1. The starter is: select Colors tab --> Levels tool (refer to first box)
2. Referring to second box, next is to zoom in to any black area where you think it's supposed to be deep black. Take that area as a sample where you will experiment your leveling process.

Play the Input Levels number around (Left: Black; Middle: Gray; Right: White). The higher, the stronger is the effect.

White is to "clean" any small dirt. Grey I usually use to strengthen the drawing line. Black* is to "deepen" the contrast, and also useful for strengthening weak background. In my opinion, the numbers in the picture provide the best for the page.

3. Whenever you think the number is appropriate, click Ok. Now zoom out. Referring to box 3, zoom in around the page and check whether your leveling for the sample is appropriate FOR THE WHOLE PAGE.

If you feel it's too bright/dark/not enough of both, back to step 2. Rinse and repeat until all is good.

Hint If you want a MORE detailed tool, you should use Curves tool (refer to box 4). Unlike Levels tool, Curves tool allows you to manipulate ALL black to white color range.

Only use it if you prefer to have headache and challenge. The result is more rewarding, that is if you are able to control it masterfully...

For this doujin, Levels tool is more than enough.

actually, looking at the original comic, this is incorrect. it's a pun that doesn't translate at all into english:

what alice says is literally "Huh... I think we can hook her with candy..", and then they think "her tail..." "is fishing, is fishing..." both are the same kanji but it's one of those times where a word in different usage has a different kind of meaning.
the closest english equivalent i can think of is "... sway her with candy" and then "her tail..." "is swaying..."

GIMP is pretty good for broke-ass greedy bastard like me, but trying to use it to translate a doujin means that you're probably gonna pull off your hairs, drool on the floor, rape a hamster, and then scream "HAMMER OF JUSTTICE" while punching your roommate in the mouth.

Oh, and while I'm making sense, I want to thank orange for his/her/its help.
I used "ba-thump" rather than just "thump", because I though it was more suited for a heart beat.
